On-Court
Having developed her skills in South Australia, Maddy is now renowned as one of the league’s toughest defenders while plying her trade with the NSW Swifts.
Following an outstanding junior career, Maddy was signed by the Swifts ahead of 2016 and played every match in her debut season. She followed this up by winning the Swifts Coaches Award in 2017 & 2018.
In 2019 Maddy was an integral member of the NSW Swifts Premiership Team and was selected for the Australian Netball Diamonds.
Maddy experienced a stellar 2021 on the court, winning her second Super Netball Championship with the NSW Swifts, being named Grand Final MVP, and once again being selected in the Australian Diamonds Squad. She topped this off by extending her contract with the NSW Swifts for an additional two years.
After another successful year in 2023, in which her NSW Swifts only just fell short in the Grand Final, Maddy’s consistent performances was recognised when she was named Coaches Player of the Year.
After the 2023 Maddy re-signed with the NSW Swifts for a further three-seasons extending her stay in the red dress until the end of 2026, with this deal meaning Maddy will bring up a decade of service to the NSW Swifts.
Following the 2024 SSN Season Maddy was named NSW Swifts Players Player, voted on by her teammates for contributions on & off the court to the Swifts.
Off-Court
Maddy has completed a degree in Speech Pathology and is a keen social golf player.
She currently works in the Sydney area as a Speech Pathologist for Hand-in-Hand.
Maddy has an advanced focus on living a healthy lifestyle.
